Lisa J. Guscott, President & C.E.O
Ms. Guscott is leading the future of Long Bay Management Company. She is the daughter of Kenneth I. Guscott, who started the business in 1972 along with his brothers Cecil and George Guscott. Ms. Guscott earned a Masters of Business Administration from Simmons Graduate School of Management as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wellesley College.
Ms. Guscott was active in the business at an early age, starting in the basements of several Long Bay properties. Eventually earning her way by working in various capacities and exhibiting an immense knowledge of property management as well as a thorough understanding of the firms practices, most importantly its steadfast commitment to the urban communities of Boston.
Ms. Guscott’s excellent work ethic and commitment to the community earned her recognition from numerous renowned community organizations. In 2006 Ms. Guscott was nominated to the YWCA’s Boston Academy of Women Achievers. Her professionalism and hard work also landed her a seat on several boards, including the board of trustees of Boston Medical Center; she also co-chaired the 2005 fundraising gala, which raised $1.6 million. Ms. Guscott has made quite a name for herself among her professional peers, with memberships including, New England Women in Real Estate, Building Owners and Managers Association, and the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce.
In March 2006 Ms. Guscott launched Long Bay Services, Inc. a new commercial cleaning service enterprise whose model and vision is “When You Look Good We Look Great! ” It reflects Long Bay’s commitment to excellence with an understanding that performance means everything.
